This is the last loose photo in the front of Mom’s photo album, a photo of Mom herself when she was about nine months old (I’m estimating).

This was taken on the porch of the house that was at 1027 E Seventh in Albany. (It is no longer standing.)
You can see the legs and bottom of the dress (and part of the arm on the right side, if you look closely) of someone behind Mom, apparently holding her up or at least steadying her on the chair. I can’t identify that person, or the two in the foreground at left. I imagine that one of ones at left is Mom’s mother, Grandma Addie McClain.
Nine months would put this in early March (Mom was born June 6th). It isn’t out of the realm of possibility to have a nice enough day at that time of the year to bring a toddler outside without a coat, and to have the front door of the house open. The shadows say it is mid-afternoon (the photo looks basically east). But of course the chances of this kind of day get better in late March and into April. So I wouldn’t dispute it if someone wanted to argue Mom was closer to ten months old than nine here. But compare with her one year photo before pushing it too far.
