Tallman People, c. 1928

Mom’s caption for these three photos is “Tallman People.” Seems like there was probably some occasion that prompted taking these group photos. People seem fairly dressed up. But there is no indication what it was.

I can identify only a few people in these photos. Further identifications welcome.

You will recognize the fourth taller person from the left as Mom’s “mock groom” from yesterday’s mock wedding: Waneta Averhoff. Mom is behind and right of Waneta. That’s all I have in this photo.

Grandma (Addie McClain) is fourth from left (just left of the left squatting person) in the above photo. The photo below is the same group only the people on the left that were in the shadows are now lit, but the right half of the group was hopelessly dark so I cropped it off. Again Grandma is fourth from left.
