“Upper Falls” at Silver Creek Falls, July 4, 1932

More scenery photos from Dad’s photo album…

Dad evidently visited Silver Creek Falls (now Silver Falls State Park) on July 4, 1931. While there he captured these three photos of the “Upper Falls.” It appears to me that this is the falls now known as South Falls, although the South Falls is not a double falls as shown in these photos (that I am aware of). Dad seems to have been experimenting with varying aperture and shutter speed settings.

Exposure recorded as “100 / 8 / 1/25 Bright.” Presume that to be 100 speed film, f8 aperture, 1/25 second shutter. Not sure what “Bright” refers to.
Exposure recorded as “100 / 64 / 1 Bright.” Presume that to be 100 speed film, f64 aperture, 1 second shutter. Not sure what “Bright” refers to.
No exposure information recorded for this photo.
