Continuing with photos from the wedding of Florence McClain and Lloyd Wright on July 9, 1933, on the McClain farm in Tallman. Here are some “girl photos.”

Shirley Briggs, Florence McClain Wright and Dorothy Holmes. Bridesmaids Shirley and Dorothy were Florence’s friends from nursing school. (They all remained friends for the rest of their lives.)

At three years old, flower girl Shirley McClain was the bride’s youngest cousin. Her father, Ray McClain, was brother to the bride’s father Arthur.
