Anna, Mina, Florence, Friend, c. 1932

I don’t have a location for this photo (it could be almost anywhere), and the year is little more than a guess. But here is a photo of Anna and Mina Wright with Florence McClain and an unidentified other woman.

From left: unknown, Anna Wright, Florence McClain, Mina Wright

There seems to have been a problem with the print of this photo leading to a vertical lighter streak where Mina is. I did what I could to compensate for that, with only partial success.

It seems like I’ve seen the woman on the left in another photo, but I haven’t been able to locate it. If you can identify her, or point me to another photo she is in, please do so.

I think this is an especially nice photo of Mom (Florence).

  1. What a GREAT picture of Mom! She looks so carefree hanging out with friends! So good picture of A. Mina and A. Anna too. Had never thought of this “era” for any of them! Thanks so much, Lloyd!

  2. Great picture! Obviously there was more of a connection between Mom and the Wrights than just Dad!

  3. Yes, it is an especially nice picture of Mamma. Actually it is a good picture of our aunts, too! They make Mamma look short! But I think maybe the places they are standing are slightly higher.

  4. Wow, I can’t believe how much Mina looks like my mom in this photo. Fitting because Clara Mina!
