Florence McClain in Baby Buggy, Summer 1910

This apparently much-handled photo shows Florence McClain in a baby buggy on the porch of the McClain home at 1027 E. Seventh in Albany.

One wonders whether it was taken at the same time as the photos in this previous post, considering Mom seems about the same size, and the buggy is clearly visible in the photo in the other post that was taken from the street. But that’s hardly proof.

Mom was apparently waving her left arm around at the time the shutter snapped, creating the strange-looking blur.

  1. Thank you for another good picture! It gives a feeling of what life was like 110 years ago! I can almost feel the summer breeze!
