This is, of course, Grandpa and Grandma Wright. This photo was taken beside the house on Goltra Road. Judging from the clothes, I’m guessing that it, like yesterday’s PotD, was taken later the same day as the picnic at Waterloo Park.

The most striking thing to me about his picture is how tired they both look, but especially Grandma. Picnics are fun, but they can consume a lot of energy.

For Grandma, add to that the work of preparing a picnic meal (I imagine) for her own family, at least, if not for the entire group that was at the park. No wonder she looks tired!
