I know nothing about this photo except what is noted on the back of it. This is Decker Halstead’s fifth birthday party, in 1945. I don’t know who Decker Halstead was, or the nature of the relationship between the Halsteads and the Lloyd Wright family. I imagine the Halsteads lived in or near Monroe.

I presume Decker was Art’s friend, since they were the same age. Art is third from the right in the row of standing boys. The hosts were apparently kind enough to invite siblings of Decker’s friends also. I believe that’s Dorothy, second from right, kneeling in the front. I’m less certain of this, but I think the girl kneeling on the left may be Kathryn. I can’t identify any others in this photo.
