This is John and Sarah Hammell standing next to their house at 122 N. Sherman in Albany.

Unfortunately the print is somewhat faded and (as you can see) quite dirty. In spite of all that, it is a nice photo of the Hammells. I imagine Sarah made her dress.
It is difficult to guess even an approximate year for this photo. 1910 is just a stab in the dark. But in that year John turned 50 and Sarah turned 48. I leave it to you readers to judge whether they seem to be about those ages.
The Hammells appear to be standing by the side of their house, so the street in the background would be Sherman. A house was built on the empty lot directly across the street in 1920, so at least it can be said that this photo was taken before that year. The house across the street on the left still stands, though it has been substantially modified. It was built in 1898.
